I like the Czech Republic to WIN this game.

Romania are bringing in several new players for this match that are young and inexperienced. Some think this is a plus for Romania but I think it will hurt them. Experience counts for alot in International play.

Thank you Mark. I've been waiting for this match for a while. I think Czechs are underrated and could very well catch up the Dutch side. Romania needs this game badly but I read that they'll be missing, or actually chose to ignore, a couple of strong players.

Czechs have lost one to the Netherlands last september, no draws. Romania has dropped both matches to Holland and lost 1-0 in Prague.

I fear a draw as this would be good enough for the czechs but with 28 goals in 8 games (7 GA) as opposed to 17 (10 GA) in 10 matches for Romania, what are the odds of that happening?

I'll probably put 3 units on a win.

I like the Czechs here too. Is Nedved done with the national team for good?

What do you guys think about USA-Mexico on Sat?

I guess that's it for Nedved. He wanted to join and help during qualif but finally chose to remain with Juventus.

As for Mex-USA, I think the mexicans have an edge. Playing in the states is difficult and they haven't had much success, but they are the stronger side and they'll probably assure themselves of a spot in WC tomorrow. But I have no clue how they could draw in Panama.

A tie is a possibility.

USA +105
Mexico +250
Draw +215

I won't play it but let me know what you think. I might take Denmark over Turkey.

This will be the strongest US team on the field for a game since 2002. Bruce brought up all the best and a couple of guys who were hurt are back. Mexico is missing Pardo, a rather ineffective player IMO, but he is the closest thing they have to a leader these days. I just love how LaVolpe says the guys are doing great and getting along well. Three players left ff the team are writing public letters calling for his head and everyone supposedly isn't happy with Zinha, a Brazilian born player, playing on the squad. If you ask me, Mexico surely has talent, but the strong record is born out of the horrendous level of competition and not good play.

Put it simply the US has no excuse not to win this. They are more motivated, more together, and with the healthy squad a bit more talented. They are playing in the one lone stadium that can give a home field advantage too. The price isn't a bargain, but they should get the win.

Bill, good analysis. I wish the game was televised, should be a great one.

Bill, do you think taking the US win and the Tie is a smart way to gaurentee a profit on the day? US hasnt lost in crew stadium, and Mexico hasnt faired well on US soil... not to mention I agree that this is strong US squad from top to bottom.

Also do you have a starting roster anywhere? Is Eddie Johnson playing?
