This will be the strongest US team on the field for a game since 2002. Bruce brought up all the best and a couple of guys who were hurt are back. Mexico is missing Pardo, a rather ineffective player IMO, but he is the closest thing they have to a leader these days. I just love how LaVolpe says the guys are doing great and getting along well. Three players left ff the team are writing public letters calling for his head and everyone supposedly isn't happy with Zinha, a Brazilian born player, playing on the squad. If you ask me, Mexico surely has talent, but the strong record is born out of the horrendous level of competition and not good play.
Put it simply the US has no excuse not to win this. They are more motivated, more together, and with the healthy squad a bit more talented. They are playing in the one lone stadium that can give a home field advantage too. The price isn't a bargain, but they should get the win.
